The pocket knife. I've been carrying some type of pocket knife since I was a cub scout. Yes there were cub scouts way back then. Anyone that knows me well knows that I always have a pocket knife. For me it's a tool, an emergency life saving tool first. Yes whenever someone wants to open a package they always turn and look at me. Nice to for those reasons but more important because someone at some time may need something cut and cut fast. I'm pretty sure I've posted in the past that I have used my pocket knife to cut / free someone from a seatbelt that was stuck.
Your pocket knife doesn't need to be fancy it just needs to be sturdy and sharp. Keep it handy and keep it sharp. You just might make a difference.
Hi Aaron - To me this is very ironic. Like GB I carry the multi-tool and the lockblade knife as tools - not weapons. thoroughout the day I find each invaluable for many small, mundane tasks.
