Jadams was talking about Vince Gironda's steak and egg diet. I find differant diets interesting. What I mentioned to Jadams was Ric Drasin said there was three way You could go with diet. I made a mistake he said there was only two diets that work. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/ric-drasin/which-diet-burns-fat-and-_b_12066134.html
I'm no expert and I could be wrong but for me it all comes down to calories. He mentions High Protein and Low carb as one. The other he mentions is High Protein and carbs but no fat. I said three because a more balance approach while keeping calories in check has been a good approach for me. Are these other diet approaches healthy? I don't know? Many claim they are so who am I to say.

" On a diet like this, you can get very lean and muscular in a short period of time but, if you reverse it and go back to eating carbs, your body will tend to get heavy and blow up way beyond where you were when you started. Fat cells don’t disappear, but instead shrink in size, so when you feed them again, they blow up to original size and bigger."
My question would be, why go on a high protein/low carb? Reason I say this is I do not believe anyone can stay on a very low carb diet for the rest of their life. What I've noticed was they end up binging of carbs and not getting very far with weight lose. Not many people on here participate but I would like to hear some opinions on this.
Ok thanks!
By the way Jadams, when You want to post a video You can click on the video camera and it will look like this.
There is another variation where every 3 days or so eat a meal with carbs, like rice or sweet potato, instead of going 6 days and carb up on the 7 th. I have some deer meat as well. It is very good.
Glad to see you're getting some weight loss results. The thing I would be worried about the most is the cholesterol. You're definitely going to lose some weight doing this.
Jadams I would add some veggies to this for vitamins and fiber. I think this could be sustainable if it was done three times a day but health wise not sure. You got me curious so I started messing around with this on Monday.
A friend of mine just gave me a bunch of deer meat. So I've been eating it with hard boiled eggs twice a day with veggies. Dinner I eat some other lean meat and veggies. I don't have a scale but I'm going to get one today. I'll share my results with you as you are with me. I want to see how I feel.
This was my first week on the meat and eggs diet. I did well. Lost 3 pounds. I was never really hungry and had energy throughout the day. Sunday I did cheat. Ate some pizza and some sweets but didn’t go crazy.
The whole question is about high protein/high fat is it sustainable. I guess that is determined by the person and what they want to achieve. Vince Girando went on it for 9 months and had good results.
Here is YouTube video of Ric Drasin explaining the concept. https://youtu.be/8-EaHRfmgdY
