I never was much of a calorie counter but I like to experiment. I'm not much for technology but I've come around a little. I put an app on my phone that counts calories, nutrients and more. It's called My Fitness Pal: https://www.myfitnesspal.com/
With the New Year coming up people like to start a new slate. Why not start with Your nutrition? Here's another one for You: https://www.fitday.com/
Yeah I never took that one. The one I took I'm sure plenty people took because of the name. When I was taking it I thought I was going to get ripped, Lol. Darn genetics.
The only other one I tried was one John Peterson was marketing. I didn't take it long because it made me edgy and nervous.
Yeah Greg I started counting calories. I wanted to know for myself if the macro nutrients make a difference. I've read and believe it's calories in, calories out.
I've seen many examples of this. So many fad diets. I think balance is the key.
Suppressing my appetite would be nice. I thought I ate alot of calories but compared to some guys I know it's not so bad. My calories have been ranging around 2000 and below.
Years ago I used a fat burner(I won't mention the brand). Sounds like you have a good one. You have to watch with those. I didn't read the warnings on the one I was using. At the time it raised my blood pressure and I didn't feel right. Of course I stopped taking it.
Thanks Michael. I've counted calories at different times in the past. One thing I've been trying this month is a fat burner. Most I've seen in the past had ephedra and I passed them by. This one has green tea and various anti-oxidants. It also has a healthy amount of caffeine. So far it has helped as an appetite suppressant and I've cut my meals back to two with less calories. I've dropped a few pounds, but nothing major. There have been no side effects other than having to drink more water to prevent cramping when working out.
