I know this is a weight training book but there are plenty of ideas for what everyone here does. This book was recommended to me by MikeNY on another thread. I believe Greg has recommended it also but I could be wrong. Getting Stronger by Bill Pearl is a book I realised after I seen it I had years ago. It got lost in the process of moving.
It's a book that has sports training, general conditoning, bodybuilding, aerobic circuit training, over 50 training, rehabilitation, and plenty of variations on exercises. Talks about muscles and nutrition also. Very interesting book. When You look at the exercises for each body part You will get some nice ideas. For example, when I seen the rear delt exercises I didn't realise there were so many differant exercises for them. MikeNY and Greg Thanks for recommending this book.
You are most welcome, I still have my 1985 Edition and love this work, and I have a 2005 Edition (it was updated by the Author to 2005). Greg Newton recommended this book to me at the old site; but I had a copy.
This book gives workouts for dozens of sports, workouts for fitness and for Bodybuilders. I like that the workouts can be changed into Isometric Weightlifting Exercises (aka VRT).
I agree Greg. I'm glad MikeNY re-mentioned it. Alot of good stuff in it.
I still have a copy in my office. It is a very good book.
