This all makes sense to me but not everyone likes bodybuilding. I'll never be Arnold but it's fun trying, Lol. All seriousness, I'm really not trying to be Arnold, that would be impossible for me because of my genetics & structure. I try to exercise for strength, aesthenics, and health but I believe they all carryover to each other no matter what many may believe. We all have that right. Even if You're not into bodybuilding just be the best You that You can Be.

You have hit the nail on the head!
Zieglerj, for me I find it fun just trying. Although I will never look like any of those guys, that's what I like.
Great 12 minutes. Being a teen I wanted to look like...Bruce Lee. Well, that never happened. I remember being about 30 and realizing, I was not going to be a great bodybuilder. But, that has not stoppped me, over the years, from performing some type of exercise. As stated, above, most people do not exercise.
You know it seems to be common to human nature in general to try to downgrade others to elevate yourself. I'm of the mind do what makes you happy and what you enjoy as far as exercise. Some people can get away with things other people can't. Most people don't exercise at all.
I say a person should do what they like if it's not injurying them, to a point. But I also would say we have to be realistic with ourselves. If we're made to be bulky be bulky, if we're made to be lean do that, ect.... I agree on the," my way is the only way" thing but I would say that goes further than just gurus. That's all over the internet. People look down on others because they do something differant. I don't care what kind of training someone does I'm honestly happy they're doing something. But alot of people have closed minds.
I love Ric - it is all about common sense. Genetics, muscle length, bone structure etc. they all make the difference. The guys I can't stand are the my way is the only way gurus. Give me a break. There is too much difference in the way humans are put together. I also liked his examples of three guys training wrong. The first one was doing some sort of cross training circuit circus, the second not using any tension on the muscle and the third using exercise form that could cause injury.
