A couple of days ago, I purchased a 9 mm laser training cartridge. I can certanly say that it is a great tool for dry-fire training. We can see the point where a real bullet could hit a target during shooting. Any mistakes in sighting or trigger pulling are clear detected as a deflection from the point of aim.

In contrast to very popular Glocks, shown in these videos, DA/SA handguns allow training multiple shots. In general, I would not recommend to purchase expensive and stupid laser targets because we can use any convenient paper ones for successful training.
P.S. If you want a target that gives a bright burst, you can use a small daylight bulb as a target.
Update for laser cartridge training:
After dry-fire training daily with a laser cartridge, my accuracy has become much better, Sometimes, I can hit 1.5"-2” target 8-10 times consistently at the distance 12 yards. It is very good result for me.
