If you create a fence/ barrier and you warn a person not to come in and they do, they should get one more chance at most after that you must attack.

If someone grabs you with one or two arms i would argue you must attack.

Real violence is like a car crash. The one who is on the recieving end of the first hit usually looses.

Dont be a victim hit first.
