I had my fire deparment physical this past Friday. I was 10 pounds heavier than I thought I was at 190. Here lately I've been strong at pull-ups and doing a lot of martial arts stuff and feel lighter. Everything was good as far as EKG and I haven't lost any height. I'm curious as to how my bloodwork is going to come back. I've made some dietary changes and am curious as to what kind of difference, if any, they make. The doctor was a young guy in athletic shape and was impressed at my physical condition at 57; especially my blood pressure, pulse and the fact I take no meds.
As far as diet, I eat fewer calories and supplement with C, E, cacium/magnesium, garlic and alfalfa. Although I workout harder than most, the important thing at this stage in life is longevity and productivity.
Good job - congratulations.
