Sometimes I don't like to post stuff like this but I thought this was very interesting. Everyone has a differant opinion and sometimes there's an agenda. I'm not one for picking stuff apart and science is not my strength. From my own family's experience this video seems to be true.
My Mother's side, almost everyone had diabetes. They all ate high fat diets, processed carbs and whatever else was bad. Yeah I know the Keto and paleo guys would have a field day with this. Yeah they didn't eat grass feed, organic, ect.....
I've experimented with many diets and know how I felt on each one. If a diet tells me not to eat fruit than I'm running far away from that diet now. I eat 2-4 pieces of fruit a day. Anyhow, I'd be interested in any insights after watching the video. If You know the science please share.
I must say this was one great video! It solved how my Nana (Grandma in Italia) was able to live longer and keep her life, eating a vegetarian diet.
My Grandmother was a type 1 Diabetic, and never needed injections until the was hospitalized at around age 81/82 for a non diabetic medical problem. She was a vegetarian and used that to control her diabetes, it was the favored diet of many Super-rich women before 1900 in Southern Italy (PS: many regular folks followed the lead of the Rich). In the hospital they gave her regular food (there was no vegetarian meals in hospitals then) and it triggered her diabetes, she soon died even with diabetic injections.
She did not pass the gene on.
