Exactly Aaron! I like progressive calisthenics but I need muscle endurance and endurance itself because of my work. Honestly the work itself conditions one for the task. But for injury prevention, imbalances, conditioning for me makes what I do easier. Like I said, I like Matt's insights.
So many variables to consider that are individual .You gotta know yourself and body.
A flexible approach to workout/recovery is always the best solution.
